Happy Dr. Seuss Day!

Happy Dr. Seuss Day! We had a fabulous Dr. Seuss Day. Lots of kiddos dressed up as his or her favorite character in a book. Mrs. Wajid and Mrs. Susco came in our room to visit. My mom came in as a mystery reader. She read Green Eggs and Ham. Our kiddos then used magazine pictures for a cool writing assignment. It will be coming home this week. Check it out! Our boys and girls had so much fun reading so many different Dr. Seuss books and were able to do very cool Dr. Seuss math centers throughout the week. Ask your kiddo what his or her favorite Dr. Seuss book was that we read:)

100th Day Fun!

We had such a great time celebrating our 100th day of school. Thanks to all of our parent volunteers. We looked so awesome in our 100th day gear! We had 5 sensational centers. We made 100 day hats with Talia's mom. We estimated 100 day items with Jimmy's mom. We used our 100 day items we brought in and sorted them by 10's with Sean's mom. We estimated and actually did activities in 100 seconds with Sarah's mom. We rolled to a 100 and made 100 tally marks with Miss Minardi. Check out our COOL pictures:)

Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day! We had a fabulous time. Thanks to all of our parent volunteers:) We rotated through 3 Valentine's Day Centers. We made Valentine's Day mailboxes. We sorted and graphed candy hearts. We made awesome Valentine magnets. Check them out!

Mystery Reader

Thanks to Mrs. Nolan for coming in as our Mystery Reader. The kiddos loved all 3 books:)

Dental Health Visitor

We had a special visitor today! She taught us all about keeping our teeth healthy and strong. We learned all about what was good and what was bad for our teeth. Apples and water are great for our teeth. Candy, cupcakes, and fruit snacks are not so good for our teeth! We did the happy dance for the good stuff and the sad sigh for the bad stuff.  We practiced how to brush our teeth in a circular motion. Ellie and Emo (fish) came too. It was a great time! We learned so much!

Penguin Fun

We have learned all about penguins. We made penguins and measured ourselves with Mrs. Corino's class:) Check it out!
