Building Shapes!

We have been learning all about 2d and 3d shapes in Math. Our kiddos are experts at identifying different shapes. They were able to build 2d shapes today. They picked their own shape! Check them out:)

My Mom Can't

We read Mother's Day books all of last week. We read a book, My Mom Can't... It was all about things that moms can't do, but the thing that they all do the best is love us. We made a chart with our text to self connections. Check it out!

Happy Dr. Seuss Day!

Happy Dr. Seuss Day! We had a fabulous Dr. Seuss Day. Lots of kiddos dressed up as his or her favorite character in a book. Mrs. Wajid and Mrs. Susco came in our room to visit. My mom came in as a mystery reader. She read Green Eggs and Ham. Our kiddos then used magazine pictures for a cool writing assignment. It will be coming home this week. Check it out! Our boys and girls had so much fun reading so many different Dr. Seuss books and were able to do very cool Dr. Seuss math centers throughout the week. Ask your kiddo what his or her favorite Dr. Seuss book was that we read:)
